Welcome to Rising Sun Rarities! 

My name is Abby, and I am a collector, admirer, and dealer of coins. Based in Baltimore, Maryland, Rising Sun Rarities is the intersection of my curiosity of coins and my background in business.

As a collector, my primary focus is Japanese coins (Edo and Meiji periods) and American coins (from early federal through the mid-1900's) with the inventory of Rising Sun Rarities reflecting that. 

I travel to Japan often, so I am regularly updating my stock with Japanese coins that are often very difficult to find in the U.S. If there is something specific you are looking for that I don't have, please contact me as I have a vast network of Japanese coin dealers and auction houses that I can source coins from.
