A scarce date in the series, this 1875 20 Sen exhibits excellent luster on the obverse with a flashy prooflike reverse.
For the Meiji 8 20 Sen there are two varieties: an early period and a later period. The early period is characterized by a much larger bow on the reverse and is the rarer of the two varieties.
